biography

Born in August 1945 in New York, producer, director and political activist. Brave New Film, his media company, uses film to tell stories that build movements and  influence debate about the most important issues of the day. He has produced and/or directed more than fifty television movies, miniseries and feature films. He is
a co-founder of Artists United, a group of actors and others opposed to the war in Iraq. He has lectured at Harvard University for the Nieman Fellows Foundation for Journalism.
