Freedom Theatre

The activities of the Freedom Theatre allow the children and adolescents in the Jenin refugee camp to express themselves, especially concerning their closed-in existence imposed on them by the Israeli military.

This short film by Juliano Mer Khamis, the artistic director of the theatre itself, is reminiscent of the theatre his mother, Arna, created at the onset of the first Intifada, which the Israeli Army destroyed in 2002. The young girls speak up first and then the boys.

The association Friends of the Freedom Theatre will participate in the Q&A.
